Donations were collected in a campaign with the Internet provider's customers, and a new phase, with more donations, will soon take place. Renovare Telecom donated 1 ton of non-perishable food to assistance entities that are supporting families at risk during the crisis caused by the new Coronavirus. In the first phase of delivery, the food banks of Novo Hamburgo and the Association of Volunteers of Hospital São José, in Dois Irmãos, will benefit.
Each of the entities which are references in this work to help the community, will receive half a ton. In Dois Irmãos, the food bank of the Association of Volunteers of Hospital São José has already collected around 8 tons in donations in recent months, helping Industry Email List around 1,500 families in the municipality. The Novo Hamburgo Food Bank handles the distribution of donations to various charities in the region, serving the cities of Novo Hamburgo, Estância Velha, Sapiranga and Campo Bom. “These are entities that are doing an exemplary job in supporting those who are really going through difficulties right now here in the region.
We hope that this gesture contributes in some way to bringing a little comfort and joy to those in need”, highlights Luis Lehnen, director of Renovare Telecom. After these two deliveries, the Conecta do Bem campaign continues, with the aim of benefiting customers and the community as a whole, through solidarity. “We are already collecting new donations, and soon we will have a second wave, supporting other charities in the cities and regions where we also operate, thus helping an even greater number of people”, concludes Lehnen.
